As part of ongoing efforts to bolster the resilience of the private sector and support business continuity in southern Gaza, Mr. Ayad Abu Taha, Director General of the Rafah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, representing the Rafah Governorate, conducted a series of field visits to commercial and economic projects in partnership with the Palestinian Employment Fund. These visits were part of the Business Recovery Initiative project.

These visits focused on on-site auditing and verification of the information and data registered through the initiative's online platform. The aim was to ensure the accuracy of the data submitted by beneficiary institutions and its compliance with the established terms and standards.

This step reflects the commitment of the Rafah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Palestinian Employment Fund to enhancing transparency and improving the efficiency of the verification process. This will guarantee that the initiative's services reach the truly eligible institutions and strengthen the project's chances of success and its developmental impact on the private sector in the Gaza Strip. The Business Recovery Initiative aims to support the continuity of private sector institutions affected by the war, by preserving existing job opportunities, revitalizing the workforce whose activity has been affected, creating new job opportunities for youth and graduates, in addition to empowering female entrepreneurs and enhancing their participation in the market through targeted and specialized support programs.
